Dear Bartle School Community,
Welcome to the Bartle School Counseling homepage. I am Ms. Young, the Bartle School Counselor. My primary function at Bartle is to support students with their academic, career, and social-emotional development. The delivery of this support comes in many forms- our monthly whole school meetings, monthly grade level meetings, assemblies, classroom lessons, schoolwide activities, classroom morning meetings, morning announcements on BTV, and individual student minute meetings.
All students have access to the school counseling program at Bartle. Students who need support with specific areas or skills will be recommended for Tier 2 programs which can include small group intervention, Lunch Bunch, restorative circles as a class or small group, or a referral to the Social Emotional Learning (SEL) Lab. The ultimate goal of the Bartle School Counseling program is to help students be successful to the best of their abilities.
I have included resources for families to reference when needed. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns for your students.
Have a rockin' school year,
Ms. Young
